- Container Shipping: Transporting goods in standard containers (20ft, 40ft). Ideal for general cargo or goods that need protection. Two main types: Full Container Load (FCL): Entire container dedicated to one shipment. Less than Container Load (LCL): Shared container space for smaller shipments.
- Bulk Shipping : For unpackaged goods like grains, coal, or crude oil. Loaded directly into the ship’s hold. Includes: Dry Bulk Cargo: Solid goods like grains or minerals. Liquid Bulk Cargo: Liquids like oil or chemicals.
- Special Cargo Shipping For oversized or heavy items that require specialized handling. Includes machinery, industrial equipment, and large structures.
- Refrigerated Shipping (Reefer Shipping) Used for temperature-sensitive products like frozen food or pharmaceuticals. Transported in refrigerated containers
- Roll-On/Roll-Off Shipping (RoRo) Designed for vehicles and wheeled cargo like cars, trucks, and machinery. Goods are driven or rolled onto the ship.
- Project Cargo Shipping For large, complex shipments like factory equipment or construction materials .Requires extensive planning and coordination.
- Ferry Shipping Short-distance transport using ferries. for goods moving between nearby countries or islands.
- Transshipment Cargo is transferred from one ship to another during its journey to the final destination.
